additional areas of focus and expertise for families

From the inception of Integral Family Solutions, it has been our aspiration to offer affordable, private and intensive educational workshops for entire family systems of substance abusers and addicts.  We believe that this workshop prepares family members that will be attending family seminars at treatment programs and also reaches those unable to attend with the same imperative information.  The goal being that through this education there will begin long term recovery potential for all those affected by the disease.

Integral Family Solutions and their esteemed team of therapists and educators is excited to announce that workshops additional focus areas are available for the families you are working with.  Curriculum has been adapted by Scott Peterson, LCSW and Scott Fitzwater, LPC for the families affected by any of the following:  Disordered Eating, Chronic Mental Illness and Veterans of War.

IFS stands behind our desire to make this educational workshop available and affordable to all.  Please contact us if you or anyone you know are in need of this service but may require additional financial assistance or discounted rates.

advocating family recovery

As the addiction treatment industry continues to evolve we have learned so much about the importance of the entire support system “systemic family” to be involved, as statistics show this increases long term recovery potential.  Naturally the latest trend in addiction treatment is getting the family involved early in the treatment process.

The challenge is, that caught up in guilt, shame and emotion, these family members are most often unavailable to engage in the process.  It is our belief that introducing families to a focused beginning and thorough education we can alleviate that shame.  Separating emotion from the situation brings clarity, allowing an extensive understanding and awareness of their individual starting points.

Integral Family Solutions offers a three day, private and intensive, workshop in the home for “systemic families” while their loved one is participating in addiction treatment.  As we speak to families and professionals about the advantage of our programs, it is best explained of our educational curriculum as a means of “identifying symptoms” in order to advocate for streamlined and definitive family healing and recovery.

Families want to get, be and do better.  It is up to us as treatment professionals to offer them the tools, first to learn how and then implement change in their lives.
